Hydrogen Combustion Burner

Limpsfield was asked to design a Hydrogen Burner system to to fire the process hydrogen which a plant created during the manufacturing process of their products. It was important to utilise this “free” fuel whenever possible, but also be able to change to natural gas when the process hydrogen was not available.

Limpsfield took on the task and designed a special gas-head to accommodate the different flame pattern/velocities of the 2
gaseous fuels, which allowed for an easy and quick fuel switchover without any hardware changes on the burner.

We are proud to say the project has been running successfully for 10 years.
